Cheese & Egg on Home Ham Sandwich

Recipe for 4 persons

Butter the bread slices. Peel and slice the garlic. Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the ham until crispy on both sides. Briefly fry the garlic together with the ham. Distribute the ham and the garlic on the bread slices. Fry the eggs with salt and pepper. Carefully turn the eggs over and immediately place 1 slice of cheese on each egg. Cover and fry for another 3 minutes until the cheese melts. Place the cheese & eggs on ham sandwich.


4 thick slices of coarse rye bread

Approx. 4 tsp.

soft butter

1 clove of garlic

2 Tbsp. oil

4 slices (each approx. 60 g) Home Ham

4 eggs


Coarsely ground pepper

4 slices of medium-aged Gouda
