Forza Italia Sandwich with Saltufo®

Recipe for 4 people

Preparation:
01/ Roll out the focaccia dough to a thickness of 1 cm on a floured surface using a rolling pin, place it on a baking sheet, and bake until golden brown.

02/ Wash and clean the tomatoes, chop them finely along with basil, season with salt and pepper, and let them drain in a sieve for about 10 minutes. Then mix with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and garlic oil.

03/ Cut the focaccia into finger-thick slices, and toast both sides on the grill over medium to high heat.

04/ Slice the Saltufo® very thinly.

05/ Top the warm focaccia with the tomato salsa and Saltufo® slices.

06/ Slice the spring onions and garnish the Italian snack with them.

Ingredients:

2 Saltufo®

Tomatoes (about 200 g)

4 spring onions

Leaves from 10 basil stems

Salt and pepper

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

4 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp garlic oil

500 g focaccia dough – alternatively, pizza dough
