Forza-Italia-Sandwich with Saltufo®

Recipe for 4 persons

01/ On a floured work surface, roll out the focaccia dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of 1 cm, place on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown.

02/ Wash and clean the tomatoes and chop finely with basil, season with salt and pepper, place in a sieve and let drain for approx. 10 minutes. Then mix with balsamic vinegar, olive oil and garlic oil.

03/ Slice the focaccia in finger-thick slices and toast them on the grill at medium to high heat from both sides.

04/ Cut the Saltufo® into very fine slices.

05/ Top the warm focaccia with tomato salsa and Saltufo®.

06/ Slice the spring leek and decorate the Italian snack with it.

Tomatoes (approx. 200 g)

4 spring onions

Leaves of 10 basil sprigs

Salt and pepper

2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar

4 Tbsp. olive oil

2 Tbsp. garlic oil

500 g focaccia dough – alternatively pizza dough
